Buying a Piano
I am always willing to give advice on what to look for by phone. I also do appraisals by appointment for a nominal fee however frequently pianos sell faster than my services can be obtained.

I cannot over emphasize the importance of playing a piano prior to buying it, trying all of the notes to make certain they work. The pedals, looking inside for any obvious problems
If you are buying from a store make certain the piano you played is the one that is delivered, NOT the same model but the very piano you liked and bought, pianos, even the same model from the same manufacturer can and do sound and play differently.
Moving A Piano
I know of some rental places with the proper equipment.
I can also recommend some competent movers.
